Detailed medical history about previous diseases, consequences of sleep apnea and complaints. You can shorten the waiting time in the clinic if you bring some forms filled out in advance.(appointment preparation)
Clinical examination
Clinical examination and consultation with Dr. Robert Frey. Dr. Frey takes a lot of time for this appointment (approx. 2.5h) and will answer all your questions. If you like, it is advisable to write down a few questions in advance.
Documentation & Impressions
Photo documentation and impressions of the dentition. This is important because insurance companies often require photos and dental impressions for approval. To save you another trip to us, we will gladly take the impressions and photos directly at the initial appointment.

Preparation of the doctor's letters and the cost estimates (treatment and cost plans) for submission to the health insurance company.
2nd appointment - operation planning
3D scan of the face
Using a special 3D camera, a three-dimensional digital image of your facial surface is created.
3D X-ray of the head
By means of NewTom 5G XL DVT, a 3D X-ray of the head and neck region is created.
Operation simulation
Our team of scientists and mathematicians creates a simulation of the possible outcome.
Sleep laboratory examination
2 nights in the in-house sleep laboratory to document the ACTUAL condition

Sleep apnea surgery
2 - 3 hour surgery to advance the jaws with CounterClockwise rotation. Hanging of the elastics to fix the jaws and to obtain a good bite together.
Postoperative care
6 nights postoperative inpatient stay at the SeegartenKlinik.
